PADI OPEN WATER - Learn to Dive Course (4 days)

This course is divided into three phases:

1. ACADEMIC TRAINING PHASE

Videos and lectures on diving, information on the exotic marine life of Fiji, and using the dive tables.

2. CONFINED WATER TRAINING PHASE

 Skills to develop under water safety techniques, such as under water hand signals to communicate to Your dive buddy, clearing water from your mask and buoyancy control. All are demonstrated by a patient, friendly PADI Dive Instructor.  This phase is designed to build confidence and help you master the necessary skills to qualify as a certified diver.

3. OPEN WATER TRAINING PHASE 

This is the fun part!  Your instructor will give you a safety briefing.  Then it’s off to the dive site on a guided tour of the stunning coral reefs of Fiji.  At the on set you will perform some of the skills you have perfected, your instructor will check your skill level.  You are now ready to go deeper still about 10 metres to thrill your senses and personally experience Fiji’s dazzling tropical wonderland.  At the end of dive four you will have completed the course.  Now you are eligible to receive your “OPEN WATER DIVER” certification card. You are receiving your certification in the Fiji Islands but this C-Card enables you to dive anywhere in the world.

PADI OPEN WATER REFERRAL COURSE

You must have in your possession your referral letter from your diving instructor of any diving organization e.g. PADI, NAUI, FAUI, SSI along with a doctors medical form.
